Identity in motion

Three studies of a mark

01Heat flow

SVG

Heat in motion. A thermal front passes through the symbol; its measured rhythm evokes a continuous energy supply.

02Network rhythm

SVG

Signals converge in the mark. An outline resolves into a solid form — from a digital model to a working installation.

03Heat recovery

SVG

Two streams move in opposite directions. A pulse returns to the circuit, evoking the recovery and reuse of heat.

Why this movement?

Kelvin designs and builds district heating installations, recovers heat and digitally optimizes networks. These activities inform three motifs: energy transport, network coordination and heat reuse. The stationary lettering remains legible while movement centres on the symbol. A light ground presents the original red; graphite recalls an engineering drawing; the red panel explores the reversed mark.

These are contemporary motion studies informed by the company's activities, rather than a record of the original designer's intent or technical installation diagrams.

Corporate Design

Logo design for Kelvin.

KELVIN Sp. z o.o. was founded in 1989 as an engineering company working in technical services for district heating. Cooperation with Scandinavian companies led Kelvin to begin promoting new heating technologies in Poland in 1991, through equipment sales, design and construction of installations. The company later expanded into modern technologies, equipment and solutions across several industries.
